I am excited to share that I am participating in Tupelo Press’ 30/30 challenge!
I write a poem every day of the month (for the month of February) as a way of fundraising for this incredible press! To follow along with my poems, click here.

Here is a sample poem to whet your appetite:
Gold
Yes. More. Everything bright and needed.
I’ve been looking at rings, stacked
with emeralds and diamonds and flecks
of opal. I have rings already.
And I have bread dragged in oil
and I have coffee turned pale with cream
and sugar and I have my forearms turned
up as I drive so I can watch my veins
in the early morning light when my daughter
says, it dark out? it not dark out yet?
